We aim to turn a necessary overhead into a useful process for management, shareholders and staff of the client company.  We do so by applying the necessary techniques to give audit compliance, but tempering them with common sense, and a business approach to the entire process. 

A client - of which we are not the accountants - recently had a management report from the very large firm of auditors.  Amongst the suggestions to benefit the business was the monthly revaluation of all debts and bank balances held in Euros to ensure that the management accounts were correctly stated.  Whilst this might be "correct" accounting, the impact on the client was less than their petty cash expenditure each month.  We don't give that sort of advice.

Where an audit obligation exists it is always our aim to ensure that our fees are kept to a minimum by the efficient and cost effective approach we take in order to fulfill our audit responsibility.
